The rare circumstances of an inertia that distances what I do from what I could have done

A molecule model fills a room. It’s made out of wood sticks and different sized styrofoam balls, hobby materials one might say. The intricate structure only allows one entrance. Although most of the space is not accesible, eyes are somehow forced to wander around the model, to the walls in the back and to the sides of the room, all over the nodes that surround them. By doing so the process and the time implied in the construction are invoked and repeated, and to a certain extent aknowledged. A video projection that mirrors the room shows the structure’s collapse, which struggles like an animal between standing and disintegrating. In the end everything lies on the floor.
